1999 University of Miami Conference on
High Temperature Superconductivity
OVERVIEW
Following two successful conferences on High Temperature Superconductivity
in January, 1991 and 1995, we recently held the third conference
in the series at the University of Miami,
January
7-13, 1999. This conference, in addition to addressing physical
properties, microscopic theory and mechanisms for high-temperature superconductivity,
included related topics (e.g. ladders, manganites, nickelates).
The general goal of the conference was to provide a forum for engaging
researchers in a focused dialog directed at exploring and distilling the
latest experimental and theoretical results in the field likely to have
a significant influence on the understanding of the normal-state properties
and origin of superconductivity in this class of materials.

PROCEEDINGS
The proceedings of the conference will be published by the American Institute of
Physics. All manuscripts must be prepared using LaTeX.
The appropriate Latex style files for the AIP 6x9 inch format
are available at the AIP
website.
The maximum length for manuscripts is 6 pages for speakers and 4 pages for
posters. All LaTeX manuscript files should be submitted prior to (via email:
HTS99@physics.miami.edu) or during the conference. Authors who are unable to
prepare their manuscript under these constraints
may contact Prof. Stewart Barnes.
